We Can Learn Anything

I told a friend that I wanted to make a video of people tying their shoes. My friend told me that it was a bad idea, and he laughed at me. To deal with the discouragement I was feeling, I bought a video camera and taped my friends as they put their shoes back together.

  2. Judy, as you know, that friend, more like jerk, was me. Well, I'm very glad that you went ahead with the project. There is a real delicate wonder to it. I feel really bad for discouraging anyone from doing anything that they want to. I'm sorry. Never listen to a person who is in a negative space. What's funny is that I could have used this video when I was a kid. I was one of the very last in my class to learn to tie my shoes. I always just stuffed em in the sides so they wouldn't come out, embarrassingly they would.I wish somehow that I could go back in time and say go for it, yeah! and hold the camera for you.
